Don’s Airstream is all shined up and ready to hit the road this summer.

Don and his wife are getting ready to haul their restored vintage Airstream across America. They hope to be able to meet with some of you as they travel north and west from North Carolina to Seattle in July of 2024 and back south and east in September. You can follow along as they plan the trip and then hit the road around July 1st. You are also invited to share your ideas for places to visit and camp along their route. Making the Plan

We will start our journey in Asheville, NC

  1. We plan to take the Blue Ridge Parkway out of Asheville stopping at Linville Falls.

  2. Our first stop will be a visit with Debie’s brother and niece in North Carolina

  3. Next, we will head north to visit more of Deb’s family (and her Alma Mater) in Blacksburg, VA.

  4. On Saturday, July 6th, Don will do the raio show live from somewhere in Western Virginia.

  5. Then, spend a few days in middle Virginia visiting historic sites (for Don).

  6. We will visit Don’s daughter and grand-daughter in Lancaster, PA.

  7. Turning west, we travel the Old Lincoln Highway (US 30) across Pennsylvania.

  8. Then, on to Charm, OH - the home of one of Don’s voice clients, Keim Home Center.

  9. Continuing west we will travel through Ohio, Indiana, and Illinois.

  10. Tom is meeting me in Madison, WI to help listeners on 7/19. Let us know if you’d like to meet.

  11. After that, we hope to meet with friends in Minneapolis, MN.

  12. From there, plans are up-in-the-air.

  13. We must arrive in Chelan, WA by August 4th to spend a week with Tom and his family.

  14. Our final westbound destination is Tom’s RV Park in Woodinville, WA.
